Holy Ghost School is a part of the total Catholic Community of Holy Ghost. Our purpose is to make known the love God the Father revealed through his son, Jesus. This is achieved through the spiritual, intellectual, emotional and physical development of the student. At Holy Ghost School, we strive to develop the intellectual potential of students according to their abilities. We want students to come to know the meaning of being a Catholic Christian and to grow in the ability to respond to the demands asked of them. Self discipline is emphasized as a means of obtaining the high standards of moral integrity that we expect of all our students. While personal growth is of utmost importance, we want each student to become aware of the needs of others, to take responsibility in serving others and in helping to build the Christian Community. Indeed, each student is truly called to be a witness to Christ.
Holy Ghost School is accredited by the Texas Catholic Conference Education Department (TCCED), which is recognized and approved by the Texas Education Agency. To gain accreditation, the school must meet the principles and curriculum standards set forth in the Texas Education Ageny’s Bulletin 560, revised. There is an annual evaluation conducted by the Superintendant of Catholic Schools to ensure that standards are being met and exceeded.
